Osojnica is a hill or outlier, that rises on the western shore of Bled lake.
Mala Osojnica is 685 meters high hill near Velika Zaka. Once we reach the top, a beautiful view opens on the near and distant surroundings of Bled lake – Karawanks, Kamnik Alps and Gorenjska plain. We can rest on wooden benches and enjoy in the beauty of the surroundings. On Mala Osojnica a small hut is built, which can be used as shelter during rain. Due to its magnificent view, Osojnica is a popular spot for photographers.
Velika Osojnica is 756 meters high and with a forest grown peak, which is located behind Mala Osojnica and can serve as an extended trip from Mala Osojnica. Slightly below the top there are two viewpoints. Despite forested peak, the visit of Velika Osojnica can represent a nice trip to the nature, at the same time enables nice and diverse circular route past Mala Osojnica and Ojstrica. From the right viewpoint opens a view on Bled lake, Stol, Begunjščica and Storžič.
