Access:
On highway head towards Unec, from here continue towards Cerknica to Nova vas in Bloke. Once in the village go towards Grahovo. In Grahovo, on intersection next to the church St. Mary turn left, here we leave main road and continue along local road. Drive along this road, it takes you through the village, and later brings you to the forest. On intersection, continue to the right (the road on the left goes towards Martinjek). Follow the road for some time, until you reach sharp right bend, the road turns left towards Slivnica. Turn left and park on a suitable place.
If you come from Kočevje head towards Sodražica and continue towards Bloke, to the village Nova vas. At the end of the village leave main road and continue driving towards Velike Bloke. In the village go across Napoleon bridge, soon after turn left towards Radlek. In the village Radlek continue to the right, soon the road turns into a gravel road. Continue along this road, later the road from Bločice joins from the left. Drive straight along the road, pass NLS monument (on the right). Once you come to the intersection, which leads towards Slivnica find a suitable place to park.
From here continue on the road you parked (right from main road), on which you walk for some time. At the intersection, continue in direction towards Slivnica. Follow the path to the next intersection, where you will notice a board for a hunting cottage (si. lovska koča). Here you can continue left or right towards hunting cottage. Both roads join together, just after the cottage. Soon you will reach informational board about church St. Nicholas, which is located few meters away from the coage. Behind the board turn left, and soon you will see the inscriptions Slivnica on the trees. If you go few meters on the left, you can see the remains of the church below you. However, we follow the marks on the right. The path starts to ascent, which we follow to the top. Across the meadows and soon we see a transmitter. At a fenced pasture turn left, across the meadow, then the path takes us through a small belt of forest, where you can see the blaze. Soon we come to the road, turn right towards the cottage. Just before the cottage the path takes us to the left and soon we reach the top of Slivnica.
