Mokrc mountain can be found east of Ig gorge. Top of the mountain is covered with forest, which considerably limits the view from the top. On the way up however, there are areas from where nice view reveals nearby hills, especially Krim. When you are returning from the Mokrc hill back to the wide marked path, and continue the ascend this path, you can reach an old defence platform used by Yugoslavian army (JLA), that is only few minutes of walk Unfortunately a view is also from here limited by considerable amount of vegetation.
In the Mokrc woods we can find different species of wild animals. These are deer, bear, roe deer, wild boar, fox and different birds.

According to tales of elderly inhabitants, Mokrc can predict the rain. When the top of Mokrc is covered with fog, this is supposed to be a forecast of approaching rain or snow to the villages surrounding the hill. This is why This is how Mokrc has gotten its name, following a folk tradition, due to this phenomenon.
