Access:
You must drive to Col above Ajdovščina on Primorska, where you continue towards Vodice. The road soon take us into the forest v slight ascend, follow the sings for Vodice. Later the road starts to gently slope and in some time starts to descend and soon we come from the forest, where we see the sign for Javornik. In vicinity of the signs is a small place where we can park. Park the way that there will also be place for others. From here we follow the signs towards Javornik, on the marked path, which slightly descends. We walk along it until blazes take us to the right, soon we turn into forest. The path is slightly overgrown and takes us onto a dirt road. From here we follow blazes, slightly higher passes the macadam road. From here on, the ascend is slightly steeper, higher we again pass the road at homestead Jeler.

Then we come to the wider macadam road, which we follow into the right. Follow this road for a few minutes, until you notice a wooden board on an electric pole. Here turn right into the forest and start the ascend. The path leads us back to the road, you will pass homestead Rudolf. Follow this road to the next crossing, where we turn left and make a nice circle to the top and later to the cottage. Follow this left road to the crossing and new signs, which take you to the top of Javornik. If you are tired you can also go towards the cottage. From this crossing just follow the path to the top, where wooden tower awaits for you. From the tower go right on the road downhill, which after few minutes takes you to the cottage with an NLS monument and a memorial plaque.
