On December 15th in year 1846, with the publishing date of 1847, collection of Prešeren poems with the title Poetry were released. Poems, which were chosen for the collection, were carefully selected by Prešeren. Among the collection there was the poem titled A Toast. To print the collection, he had to ask for approval; in that time this was entirely ordinary procedure in Austria. The censor for Slovenian text in Vienna at that time was Fran Miklošič, who did not agree with the publishing of the third stanza of the poem A Toast. Due to that, Prešeren crossed A Toast out from the original release. He also concealed acrostic from Wreath of Sonnets.
