Lecture of professor dr. Igor Žibern – Kuiper belt and Oortor cloud
Our solar system does not end with planet Neptune, but beyond its orbit, an area begins that until today it was not well researched. With lecture, the characteristics of Kuiper belt and Oorter cloud will be presented. They have in common that gravitational and immediate effect of the sun weakens, that is why the movement of the bodies in this area is less correct and stable. Also the orbit planes are less consistent with ecliptic plane. Due to the minor effect of the sun, the bodies in this area are also witnesses of the situation of the begining of the constellation development. The latter is one of the most important motives for future researches of this area.
